Join us on October 3rd to celebrate the 75th anniversary of CBC Radio with a special concert of operatic favourites performed by member of the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, featuring some of Canada's most accomplished female opera singers - Julie Boulianne, Marianne Fiset, Aline Kutan and special guest Ben Heppner.
Each artist will perform a French aria from operas which were extremely popular with audiences between the two great wars - a time when CBC Radio was founded. To end the group offers up four timelesss Italian operatic arias which are guaranteed to please and/or dazzle. The centrepiece is an unbelievably seductive trio for three women by Franz Joseph Haydn. Prepare to be dazzled.
