Catch Mary Lou Fallis as a Pirate...

This weekend in London, ON, you can catch Order of Canada soprano Mary Lou Fallis as the pirate Ruth in the Concert Opera Groups production of Pirates of Penzance.  A fundraiser for the Centre for Opera Studies in Italy (COSI), the show features many COSI alumni including tenor Andrew Haji and baritone Brad Christensen.  As Mary Lou was quoted in a recent article publicizing the event...
"She's actually been lusting after him, which is really a very dark undercurrent, I would say, though not explored much," Fallis says of Ruth.
