The Canadian Federation of Music Teachers' Association (CFMTA) recently announced the winners of their Call for Compositions Competition. My friend and Kingston composer Martha Hill Duncan was the winner of the vocal solo portion of the competition with her song "Maple Dust". This song is aimed at RCM Grades 2-3 and is a lovely melody in F+ with relatively simple accompaniment.
We will be recording this song next week for the CFMTA National Convention. I will post a link once it is done!
